July 28 A Breath gone by!A Breath has come and gone for tomorrow my memories will be with me... Yes a promise that shows no comfort but yet will bring forth feelings of all emotions.. she comes to my door with a beauty of memories, a voice of calmness but yet I know deep in my heart that the honesty will never emerge. My feelings of true will and honesty , love and regret will emerge but I know it will be gone tomorrow and I will reverse into a solitude feeling of lonliness and wishfulness. My heart will be gone as quick as it came and my memories will fade of the hope that I hold... She will be gone without a word into the breeze to which she came.
Yes my daughter with a beauty no one else shares, the word mother never comes from her lips, her eyes want a answer but the questions she never accepts,,, her heart is her's and why she doesn't share is beyone the air she breaths... I gave her life, I have my love in my heart just for her, but its never enough, mysorrow will return and hope only the best.
Like a broken branch that can never be healed.. never put back to grow again, never sprout anew, For others have taken the inner santuary of a connection that once was given, they've never given it back for it was never theirs to take..
Selfishness has done its deed, a act of no discresction, no restrictions, on turning back,,, whats done is done and wishing and breathing love will never be given back... The crack has no healing yet the guilty will seek forgiveness where the time has passed,, They should live the life that they have destroyed.. Absolution will never come. December 18 Cleanliness can be better than price! It happens alot! You can go shopping thinking that same feeling will come to your thoughts as you walk through the door and smell the delights of fresh baked bread hot from the ovens.... The wonderful smell of coffee down the coffee aisle and checking out the new flavors of teas on the shelf. I love to grocery shop!....
But then the reality hits when you open the doors of the dairy coolers and smell sour milk from spills on the floor and half open containers of cottage cheese on the shelf.... God what has happened to just good old clean and healthy food... You might inform someone from the department about the smell or the brown stuff growing on the cheese,,,, but they just look the other way and act like your crazy for telling them. Albertsons slogan use to be.. "ITS YOUR STORE".... Well if its our store,,, why is it so slimey?... Lately I've been in four Albertsons with in three states,,, and they are not very clean... The Merchandise is cramed into the shelves so you can't get it out,,, or the shelves have been raised so high you can't reach the product,,, or the product is sticky, slimey, or dirty. Smelly comes to mind also... I think we all should revolt and tell the management more and make a bigger squalk....
Safeway takes great pride in cleanliness... however their service can use some help..Their prices need to come down and they need to be more competive in bargains...
This weeks special is in Fredmyers... which is a Krogers store. They have great service.. and their managers are on the floor working constantly with the product to assure nothing gets missed. Everything is priced. Easy to get to and not so high you can't get it down.... I've been in three Fredmyers this last two weeks and they are all the same. Clean.... I told the manager that too.... But I did tell him I should get paid to keep his customers informed on where things were... They need a information person just walking the aisles making sure all the customers can find what they are searching for.... Within 10 minutes I was asked by customers where something is.
Winco is always a favorite... did anyone know Winco stands for Washington, Idaho , California and Oregon?.... They are always spotless.... Now with Winco you always don't see the variety in product but however they are exceptionally clean and their customer service will surprise you... They have people in the aisles always...
But This week I vote for Walmart. Their pharmacy is tops... I hope everyone takes advantage of the $4.00 prescriptions... Their Pharmacist was so good to us this last week making sure we had the medicine when we needed it,, not when they thought it will be ready... but NOW.... and explaining it throughly... They are #1 in that department... Their grocery department has alot of variety however their Produce department need s alot of improvement... But Walmart has given alot to the communities to which they serve with the prescription program... and helping the Veterans and schools... I have to say... Lets go to Walmart... !

WAS SHE MY FRIEND WHO CARED ABOUT ME? OR WAS I AN AFTER THOUGHT FOR SOMEONE TO DO ANOTHER FAVOR OR BE THE HIRED HELP/.... OH GEE, WHAT WAS I THINKING...? November 23 Interesting placesInteresting Places: For all of you wandering computer places... here is an interesting place to travel if your searching for where to go on a vacation soon to come... Washington State has alot of interesting places that everyone doesn't know about... First of all we have different areas that are all not in the rainforest.... Western Washington ,, is the Rainforest and the further west you go the more thick the woods are... There are several ghost towns to see on Hood Canal or just up in the Cascade Mountains... not far from Ellensburg there are several little towns with interesting trails and old museums.. Old Graveyards and then if you go East on I-90 freeway you will come to Indian Reservations in Yakima.. In Toppenish there is the Indian Reservation with a museum and the whole town is painted in Western Murals.. I love to shop there especially in the Amish shop. They have a Campground close to a very nice and large Casino.. Close by you will find old graveyards to walk thru.. As you travel East again you will come to a town called Pendleton, Oregon. There you will find not only old graveyards but an Underground tour. The Chinese use to do alot of underground living when the west was building railroads and goldmining.. The underground tour is very unique and interesting. If you drive out to the Casino and stay at their Hotel or Campground they have a van that will transport you back and forth to town for tours or shopping.. In Walla Walla, WA.. which is down in the S,E corner you will find a spot off the highway 12 that is called the Whitman Mission.. follow the road and you will be surprised of the history of the old west and old graveyards that you will see. Its pure adventure History for grandchildren and grandparents alike. Summer is always good weather here and the winerys are plentiful and interesting to see. Some are in old school houses from the 1800's some winerys are built right on the Columbia River over looking thousands of miles. Castles and some are in small towns nestled where you wouldn't think of searching out.. But Washington and Oregon do make wonderful wines and are always greeting people who come to visit with lots of good old fashion friendliness.
Seattle has all the fancy stuff but give me a old museum to see and I'm happy.. The underground tour in down town Seattle is interesting but the Traffic getting there is trecherous... Best to park the car at the Hotel and take a train down town and wear comfortable shoes. At this time,, Thanksgiving the roads are very slippery, wet and snowy... so even if your planning to come,, wait till spring or summer.
To all a happy holiday,, Harold is doing better, they switched medications and he isn't so misurable with scratchey and rashes... maby the bugs will work and we can go somewhetoo.. !Tomorrow is a shopping day,, becareful,, don't charge,,, wait until after like Saturday or Sunday... then the prices will be better...
Take care, Barb and Harold November 22 Shopping elsewhere?Hello Everyone..Well by now everyone has done their shopping for Thanksgiving... Harold and I just got back from Safeway due to someone gave us a shopping card to spend and I had some work to do at that particular store....
I want to express that Safeway is always good for their value in plants.. flowers ect. I always give Azaleas away for gifts during the year or live plants,,, African violets are a favorite. And Safeway always has a wonderful selection for the priceing is excellent. I always know I get good value there. Their store is always really clean and they are one of a few stores that still have the butcher right their to answer any questions on your meat purchase. Good Customer Service. Although their prices in other catagories were a little excessive it is rated high on cleanileness and good meat value and their pastry ,, well I got myself a cream puff.. made with real whip cream... really good stuff.
Yesterday I had some work at WINCO... That store now really sets the prices low... low... and getting lower.. They are really clean. You can stand in their aisle and see a small spill and count to 10... and its being cleaned up... Some stores take forever but not Winco... They are fast and they are really clean. I really love their produce as everything is really fresh and a very large selection... Their produce man I've known for a long time and he always smiles... really good service.. I stopped and talked to the meat person and he was very eager to answer any questions .. Their also they cut and wrap their own meat... They will custom cut a Roast for you without any extra charge... I like that especially for a lamb.. They cut it up into chops for me all the time.. just the way I like it.
Everyone needs to watch their penneys when shopping.. take a small calculator and when it says 20 for 10.00 dollars,,, figure it out... sometimes its a tricky little number game to make you think its a bargain and its really not.
For all of you that wanted to know about Harold,,, Well we ordered the Leeches for his leg... its our hope that they will correct the bacteria that won't heal his leg. They are coming on being put on Wednesday next week so were hoping for good hungary leeches. He feels pretty good and still getting IV therapy every night... excercising and keeping fit as best as he can...
Best Holiday to all.. Barb and Harold Whitneys AdventuresBuyers Beware
